Gorgeous hanging heart-shaped herb pillow, lovingly handmade in our own exclusive John Muir Way tartan. These scented sachets are backed with co-ordinating Liberty Fabrics and finished with a velvet ribbon loop and decorative button - so can be hung from coat hangers, drawer handles, bedsteads , coat hooks, Christmas Trees, anywhere you like really.
Each heart is filled with my own recipe of dried lavender , chamomile and hops - a combination which acts as a relaxing fragrance in the home. Enliven the scent occasionally by shaking the mix inside the heart, or place near a warm radiator for a fragrance boost .
If hung near wardrobes, closets or drawers, this scented herb mix will also keep moths away from your favourite linens and garments !

NB DO NOT PLACE NEAR ANY NAKED FLAME OR DIRECT HEAT SOURCE.

All tartans are 100% wool kiltweight woven tartans. Each tartan heart will be backed with a co-ordinating printed tana lawn cotton, which may vary from that pictured.

John Muir was a man of many talents; farmer, naturalist, botanist, inventor, explorer, mountaineer, writer - but is best known as a pioneer of nature conservation.
Muir was born in the coastal town of Dunbar, East Lothian on 21st April 1838. During his childhood in Scotland, he developed a deep love of the natural world, which grew into a lifelong cause, earning worldwide recognition.
April 2014 marked the centenary of Muirs death and the opening of the 215km celebratory John Muir Way. The trail stretches from his East Coast birthplace, through coastal, country and urban central Scotland, to Helensburgh on the West coast- the Muir familys departure point on their emigration to North America.
Gordon Nicolsons tartan design to honour Muir was inspired by " the Father of the National parks" legacy, and by the stunning coastline, countryside & Lammermuir hills which surround Dunbar, where Gordon lives with his family.
The colours woven represent;
Green & Brown - earthy nature
Blue - the sea & sky
Red - from the Dunbar tartan

The John Muir Way Tartan is approved by Scottish Natural Heritage, and is Registered with the Scottish Register of Tartans.

ACTUAL COLOURS MAY VARY.
We try extremely hard to ensure our photos are as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual colour may vary from your monitor.
This is due to computer monitors displaying colours differently, differences of natural and artificial lighting affecting photography and also due to differences in individual eyesight.
Thank you.
